OFCC Committees

The OFCC carries much of its work through volunteer Committees.  

This allows us to: 

* Leverage the expertise and interests of our Members. 

* Get the best ideas and create plans for implementation. 

* Engage our Members in their particular areas of interest. 

* Achieve our common objectives together.  

Government Affairs Committee

Charter - educate legislators and advocate for support of fuel cell industry

Chair- Bill Dawson, NexTech Materials

Education Committee

Charter - work to develop and implement initiatives that support growth in fuel cell content in curricula for K-12, and higher education programs, and develop public education and workforce development opportunities that expand knowledge of fuel cell technology.

Chair- Jerry Hutton, Hocking College

Symposium Committee

Charter - Define conference agenda and acquire speakers for the 2008 Ohio Fuel Cell Symposium, and advise on all other aspects of the Symposium events and other networking opportunities.

Marketing Committee

Charter - Increase public, state, national, and international awareness of Ohio fuel cell activities.

Chair- Lionel Batty, GrafTech

Networking Committee

Charter- Facilitate collaboration between members and other advanced energy sectors in Ohio.

Chair- Joe Shaw, NASA
